FAMILY SUPPORT NETWORK When families are faced with daily realities of parenting children with special needs it can be helpful to speak to another parent of a child with similar experiences to talk about the joys, challenges and concerns they face in raising their child.  We know that parents, through their shared experiences, can give each other the most compassionate service providers cannot. Learn more about how you can support the many projects of Family Support Network of Western North Carolina.     As the only children’s hospital in Western North Carolina, Mission Children’s Hospital has been serving children from across the region since 1994 without regard for their ability to pay. Last year, we treated over 6,500 children at our inpatient facilities, and over 21,000 children came to us for outpatient clinics for cancer, autism, diabetes and child abuse. To make all of this possible, we rely on the generous support of our fellow community members – members like KISS Country. Kiss has generously donated airtime and annual concerts as part of the KISS Country Cares for Kids Radiothon for the past 5 years, helping us raise over $440,000 to date.
